Welcome to Hope Harbour!

We are a nonprofit organization that provides emergency shelter for women and their children who find themselves homeless as a direct result of physical abuse and domestic violence.

We are a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation. Our managers ensure the confidentiality and safety of our families before and during their stay, as well as continued assistance of empowerment after their stay. We have a Family Advocate on site that provides case management and supportive services, as well as individual and group counseling for women and their children. Also provided are parenting and life skills training. We offer in-house legal advocacy that offers legal counseling and referrals, along with temporary protective orders and financial assistance with legal matters. We have a TANF Assessor that provides outreach services for our families that are eligible and assists with housing and transportation while also making referrals to community agencies based on client needs.

We are a United Way agency and receive partial funding through them, in addition to other grants. In order for the shelter to run successfully we rely heavily upon the community for additional donations and to our amazing volunteers for their time and talents.
